Located in a green, leafy complex a stone’s throw from the beach and a short drive from all of Hout Bay’s best shopping, restaurants, and attractions, the delightful one-bedroom, one-bathroom RivervieW is the fourth jewel in the dk villas crown.
This gem of an apartment has just been fully renovated and boasts a spacious, open-plan kitchen and lounge that flows out onto a gorgeous balcony framed by bougainvillea: a perfect venue for enjoying long, lazy, summer evenings or that morning cup of tea or coffee. (The complex also has a small communal pool for those hot summer days when not even an ice-cold cocktail will cut it.)
Inside, RivervieW is sunny and warm with a magnificent, fully kitted out kitchen (fit for a chef!) that has been equipped with top-of-the-range SMEG appliances, including an oven, hob, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, and fridge-freezer. There is also a breakfast bar for casual dining and then a stylish, sophisticated yet homey lounge with plasma flat-screen TV, full DSTV, and fast, complimentary Wi-Fi.
RivervieW is a one-bedroom apartment and so we have spared little expense in creating a tranquil and luxurious oasis out of this space, complete with queen-sized bed fitted with the softest Egyptian cotton linen. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with two showerheads (one is hand held) and you’ll find everything you need to enjoy a self-catering holiday here, including hairdryer, Egyptian cotton towels, and beach towels.
Speaking of the beach, RivervieW is only a few minutes’ walking distance to Hout Bay beach, as well as to this hip village’s shops and bus stops. And the beautiful and world famous Chappies (Chapman’s Peak) is less than a five minutes’ drive away!
Although we have carefully included every amenity is in this apartment, if you don’t feel like cooking, there are numerous restaurants within a short walking distance too, or you can just pamper yourself at the spa right next door. If it’s nightlife you’re after, there are several bars in Hout Bay or you can drive the short 20 minutes to downtown Cape Town.
With its rustic French décor, luxuriously comfortable furnishings, bright and sunny living spaces, and a gorgeous balcony, RivervieW makes for an enchanting getaway for couples but is also ideal for business professionals looking for a stylish base in the Cape.

A R2000 key and breakage deposit is payable with the final full payment (one week prior to arrival) and is refundable within 5 to 7 working days after the apartment has been scrutinised and all found in order. We encourage you to let us know if any breakages occur during your stay so that we might attend to them. Although you may be liable to pay for the repair, we won’t bite your head off!

The following will affect the refund:
If there are any traces, signs, or smells indicating that someone was smoking in the apartment, the deposit will not be refunded.
If we are made aware of any act of misbehaviour or disturbance, the breakage deposit will not be refunded.
If any item is missing, broken or damaged, the replacement value will be subtracted from the deposit. If you discover an instance of damage caused by a previous guest that we have missed, please let us know right away so that we don’t think it’s your fault.
If you leave irremovable stains on the bedding or towels that cause them to need to be replaced, the costs will be subtracted from the deposit. We have supplied guests with special make-up towels.
Any cost incurred to rectify dk villa’s apartment after the stay will be subtracted from the breakage deposit. This also applies to heavy cleaning so do your best to leave the property in the state in which you found it or you may be liable to cover the costs of additional cleaning
